The Nelson Waldorf School Class 8 musical production of Beauty and the Beast Jr., will delight and enthrall all ages with its retelling of the classic tale of the independent and determined Belle and her capture by, and eventual transformation of, the terrifying Beast. What could be better than watching how true love can see through the darkest of exteriors and reveal the tenderness of the person inside? While the story unfolds, audiences will enjoy songs, dances and humourous characters that make this tale come alive.

The production is acted and performed by students from NWS, many of whom have been delighting their audiences with drama and singing since they were only 6! They have been expertly guided in their drama, singing and dancing by an amazing team: Leah Vivian (producer and director), Joy Pritchard (musical director) and Cloe Comstock (choreographer). This final production of the NWS Class 8 will be the cherry on top of their many years of performing together. Come and share in this experience with them.
