Canadian history gets a hilarious remix in Wes Borg’s revival of his and Paul Mather’s The War of 1812, directed by Ian Case.

Mike Delamont (God is a Scottish Drag Queen) is back on our stage, and he’s brought friends! Fringe super stars and Atomic Vaudeville favourites Wes Borg (Three Dead Trolls In a Baggie), Morgan Crann (Vasily Djokavich) and Rod Peter Jr (Kitt & Jane) round out the cast in the funniest history lesson of a lifetime!

This is the funniest Canadian history lesson of a lifetime! Using a Birchbark Time Canoe, the ghost of Pierre Burton takes a young boy who hates Canada on a tour of Canadian History… they make their way through key events - from the whiffle ball battle fields of York to a Laura Secord mega musical - and historical personages like Major General Isaac Brock (leader of the British forces), U.S. Brigadier General William Hull and Shawnee leader Tecumseh.

Told through a myriad of props, wigs, quick changes and hilarity, this excellent and elastic cast cycles through the story, engaging in ridiculous ad libs, sometimes swapping out characters with each other to ensure the high energy momentum never slows down.

Join us for the Canadian history ride of a lifetime!
