The Nelson Dance Educator's Showcase

The Nelson and District Arts Council is proud to present our third annual Dance Educators' Showcase at the Capitol Theatre!

This showcase will feature teachers and students from The Dance Umbrella, Front Street Dance, Slava Doval's DanceFusion, Kesavah Bellydance, Miss Corrine's School of Dance, Nelson School of Dance, Marilyn Hatfield Drum Dance, the Brenda McJones Highland Dancers and , VG Tango, Global Rhythms Showgirl Dance, the Brenda McJones Highland Dancers and Trillium School of Dance as well as other members of the dance community in Nelson. This weill truly be a showcase of the finest dancers that live in the Nelson and District.

All profits from the ticket sales of the dance showcase will be divided equally between the dance schools and the Arts Council. The funds will then be turned into bursaries at each studio/school in the area to support dance students that might not otherwise be able to afford dance education. To compliment this event we are also holding a silent auction. The proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Arts Council with it's renewed focus on artist support.
