Talel, Ella and Grace with opener Sapphire Guthrie!

Opening the evening, Sapphire Guthrie is a 17-year-old singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Nelson, BC. She is currently a vocal student in the Contemporary Music and Technology Program at Selkirk College. She sings in the local youth choirs; Corazon and Lalin. Her songs are written in both English and Spanish, and blend styles of Folk, Pop, Rock and Ballads.

Talel, Ella and Grace are a harmonious trio whose influences draw from the folk, bluegrass and pop genres. With insightful lyrics, crafted instrumentals and angelic harmonies, each band member’s individuality caters to the alluring and fresh sound of “Talel Ella and Grace.” 


Talel McBriar is a singer-songwriter from Nelson BC. Disclosing her observations and experiences through original lyrics and melodies, Talel’s sound celebrates old traditional ballads and folk music of the past and present. Performing around the Kootenay area as a solo act and in duo’s with both Ella Korth and Grace Clark, Talel aim’s to resonate her organic sound with other’s. She is currently a vocal student of the Selkirk College Music Program. 

Ella Korth is a multi-instrumentalist roots musician who grew up in Nelson BC immersed in bluegrass and oldtime music. Guitar is her primary instrument, as well as lead and harmony singing. Ella has taught and performed at various festivals both solo and in a duo with Talel McBriar. 

Grace Clark, singer & songwriter from Yellowknife Northwest Territories, will absolutely captivate you during her live performances. Blending her folk & metis fiddle playing with sweet harmonies, Grace has brought a piece of her northern spirit to the Kootenays. Grace is studying Contemporary Music and Technology at Selkirk College in Nelson BC. Her voice is what drives her the most.
